Frequenty, I am invited to lecture on architecture, design or other related subjects. Below is a list of my most relevant and recent lectures.

I have also moderated several debates on various topics and for various organisations, such as the Netherlands Architecture Institute (NAi), the European Cultural Foundation, DutchCulture and Studio X Columbia University New York.

Lecture on the Smart Cities – iCities Conference Curitiba, Brazil

On the 2nd of December 2015 I was invited as speaker on Smart Cities, which took place at the iCities Conference, Curitiba, Brazil.

Lecture on the History of Interior Design – Studio X Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

On the 7th of November 2015 I was invited as speaker on the history of interior-design, which took place at Studio X Rio de Janeiro. The lecture took place within the context of the Design Week Rio de Janeiro. Other speakers included Renata Bartolomeu and Carolina Wambier.

Lecture on Design and Creating the Image of the Future – Florianopolis, Brazil

On the 7th of November 2015 I was invited as speaker on the history of interior-design, which took place at Studio X Rio de Janeiro. The lecture took place within the context of the Design Week Rio de Janeiro. Other speakers included Renata Bartolomeu and Carolina Wambier.

Lecture on 7 Encounters that shaped Brazil – Maastricht, Nederland

On the 14th of December 2014 I was invited as speaker at the Bonnefanten Museum, Maastricht on the history of Brazil. The hour-and-a-half long lecture focused on seven important encounters that shaped Brazil, focussing on design and architecture.

Urban Mobility Symposium – Sao Paulo, Brazil

In April 2014 I was invited as the mainspeaker on urban mobility on a high-level mobility symposium with Dutch Minister for Infrastructure Wilma Mansveld and Dutch  ambassador in Brazil Cees Rade. The event took place in the Futeball Museum, in the Pacaembu Stadium, São Paulo, Brazil. The lecture can be viewed here.

Lecture on Rapid Urban Growth in Shenzhen, China – Sao Paulo, Brazil

In November 2013 I was invited as the mainspeaker on Shenzhen and the curatorship of the Urbanism / Architecture Bi-City Biennale of Shenzhen and HongKong 2013 for the Escola da Cidade Sao Paulo. The event took place in the renowed School of Architecture. The lecture can be viewed here.
